A recognizable business identity
A practical path to an EIN
Preparation for US banking
Why international solo founders form a US company
A US company is not a shortcut around tax, banking or compliance rules. It can, however, give an international founder a clearer legal and operational structure for selling services, building software, signing contracts and applying to US-focused financial platforms. The value comes from having the formation, documents and next steps coordinated properly, not from oversimplified claims about tax or privacy.
Invoice and contract through a registered US company, while keeping your personal and business activity more clearly separated.
Formpreneur prepares and supports the eligible international EIN application workflow after state formation.
Receive the core company documents and practical guidance needed to apply to suitable US business account providers. Approval remains with each provider.
We help you assemble and present the company information needed for a Stripe business application. Stripe decides eligibility and approval.
Use the included address only for supported business and official-mail purposes; it is not a staffed operating office and third-party acceptance is never guaranteed.
Follow formation progress and keep formation, EIN, mail and compliance records in one dashboard.
Built for focused, one-owner businesses
Formpreneur intentionally serves a narrow launch profile so that the formation and compliance promise stays understandable. It is a strong fit when one person owns and operates a digital or service-based company from outside the United States.
Not supported at launch
- US residents
- Companies with two or more owners
- A company owned by another legal entity
- C-Corporations, S-Corporations or nonprofits
- Non-default tax elections
- Form 1065 preparation, bespoke legal advice or individualized tax planning

Choose the level of support you need
Both packages include the complete first-year formation bundle. Managed is recommended for founders who also want Formpreneur to coordinate their first eligible compliance cycle.
| Package | New Mexico | Wyoming | Florida |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $329 | $395 | $479 |
| Managed: Recommended | $699 | $765 | $849 |
The initial formation purchase is a one-time payment. It does not automatically enroll you in annual renewal billing. Any later renewal or subscription requires a separate customer choice and acceptance.
Starter
Starter is for a self-directed founder who wants Formpreneur to handle the formation essentials and EIN workflow, while taking responsibility for later annual and federal compliance. It includes 12 months of standard support through email and the Formpreneur website support-ticket system.
Managed: Recommended
Managed includes the same formation bundle plus 12 months of priority support through email, website support tickets and WhatsApp. For an eligible foreign-owned single-member company, it also includes the first applicable state annual-report work and preparation of one pro forma Form 1120 with Form 5472 when required. It is not general bookkeeping or unlimited tax advice.
New Mexico, Wyoming or Florida: which state fits your company?
The state should be selected for a real operational reason, using actual costs, recurring obligations and business fit. The following comparison uses Formpreneur’s supported scope and non-binding state-processing estimates.
| State | Starter | Managed | Estimated state processing | Recurring state work | Often fits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| New Mexico | $329 | $699 | 4–7 business days | No regular annual report for a standard NM LLC; other duties may apply | Cost-conscious digital founders |
| Wyoming | $395 | $765 | 1–3 business days | Annual report; $60 minimum state fee for most supported profiles | Founders wanting a balanced, established option |
| Florida | $479 | $849 | 10–15 business days | Annual report; $138.75 on time, with a substantial late fee after May 1 | Founders with a genuine Florida or East Coast reason |
New Mexico
Formpreneur’s lowest first-year price. New Mexico is attractive when low formation cost and lighter recurring state administration matter more than state-name recognition. It does not mean the owner has no federal, home-country or activity-based tax obligations.
Wyoming
A popular balanced option for online businesses. Wyoming has a recurring annual report and a minimum state fee for most digital founders, but offers a straightforward, well-known formation path and a fast Formpreneur estimate.
Florida
Florida can make sense when the business has a real Florida-facing reason, customers, suppliers or commercial plan. It has the highest Formpreneur first-year price of the three, a recurring annual report and more public filing exposure, so it should be selected deliberately.
US bank account and Stripe application support
A US company and EIN can be important parts of a business-account or Stripe application, but they do not guarantee approval. Formpreneur helps you prepare the formation documents, banking resolution, EIN records and consistent business description required for an application. The financial provider still performs its own identity, risk, country, industry and activity review. Formpreneur never opens accounts under false information, holds customer funds or acts as a payment processor.
Your company records should not disappear into an email thread
Formation is only the beginning. Formpreneur gives the company owner a workspace for the information and documents that are commonly needed after approval.
- Formation status and next actions
- Articles and internal company documents
- EIN record when received
- Registered-agent details and eligible mail scans
- Support-ticket history
- Managed compliance status and customer deadlines where applicable
- Cloud invoice features available to eligible Formpreneur customers
Managed covers the first eligible compliance cycle
Managed is designed for the launch profile: one non-US tax-resident natural-person owner, one US single-member company and the default disregarded federal classification. The exact filing requirement always depends on the customer’s facts and timely information.
- Preparation of one pro forma Form 1120 with Form 5472 when required for the supported profile
- Applicable standard state annual-report work in the first full compliance cycle
- Customer review and a fresh signature before submission
- No Form 1065, personal income-tax return, bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax or bespoke tax planning
- No guarantee of a tax result, filing acceptance or penalty relief

Renewal prices are disclosed at formation so you can compare the ongoing path, not only the first checkout amount.
| State | Starter renewal | Managed renewal |
|---|---|---|
| New Mexico | $199 | $499 |
| Wyoming | $199 | $565 |
| Florida | $199 | $649 |
The first-year purchase is not an automatic renewal. If you later choose recurring annual billing, you will receive separate terms and reminders. Variable, late, expedited, asset-based and customer-caused fees are quoted before charging.
What “transparent pricing” means
Your selected package includes the listed Formpreneur services and the standard first-year state filing fee. Optional services, later renewals, physical mail forwarding, expedited processing, customer-caused corrections and exceptional government or provider fees are shown or quoted separately before charging. We do not promise that no future business expense will ever exist.
A stage-based refund policy
Cancel before manual review begins for a full refund. After manual review but before provider submission, a $49 administrative fee applies. Government, state and provider costs become non-refundable once paid or irrevocably committed. Formpreneur-caused filing errors are corrected without another Formpreneur service fee. Approved refunds are initiated within 14 business days, although the customer’s financial institution controls final posting.

Frequently asked questions
In many cases, yes. Formpreneur’s current service is specifically designed for eligible non-US tax residents who will be the sole natural-person owner. Your home-country tax and reporting duties remain separate.
No travel is required for the standard Formpreneur formation workflow. Banks, payment providers or exceptional verification cases may have their own requirements.
Formpreneur’s supported formation and international EIN workflow does not require the eligible customer to obtain an ITIN first. Formpreneur does not provide ITIN applications. An ITIN may still be needed later for a separate personal US federal tax purpose.
Not through the current launch service. Formpreneur accepts one natural-person owner with 100% ownership. Multi-member companies and Form 1065 are not offered at launch.
No. The current paid formation service is for eligible non-US residents. US residents may still use the public free invoice generator.
You provide an alternative name during intake. State authorities make the final availability decision, and Formpreneur will request another option if needed.
Yes. Both Starter and Managed include preparation and support for the eligible international EIN application workflow. The IRS controls assignment and timing, so an EIN cannot be guaranteed.
A provider-permitted US business mailing address is included for supported uses, together with first-year registered-agent service. It is not a staffed operating office, personal residence or universal address for every bank, marketplace or directory.
No. Formpreneur helps prepare documents and navigate suitable applications. Each bank, fintech and Stripe performs its own risk, country, industry and identity review and makes the final decision.
A registered agent maintains an address in the formation state and receives official legal or state correspondence for the company. It is a statutory contact role, not a substitute for your own operating location.
Limited eligible mail scanning is included under the provider’s rules. Physical forwarding, courier, postage, customs and handling are separately paid by the customer. Packages, product returns, cash, hazardous items, perishables and personal mail are excluded.
Choose based on real cost, annual obligations, processing expectations and commercial reasons. New Mexico is the lowest-cost Formpreneur option, Wyoming is a balanced and established choice, and Florida is best reserved for a genuine Florida-facing reason.
Formpreneur’s non-binding estimates are 4–7 business days for New Mexico, 1–3 for Wyoming and 10–15 for Florida. Government, provider, review and customer-response timing can change the total journey. EIN processing follows state approval and has a separate IRS timeline.
Yes, the standard first-year state filing fee for the selected supported state is included. Optional, expedited, later renewal, physical forwarding, customer-caused and exceptional charges are separate and disclosed before charging.
Starter renewal is currently $199 in each supported state. Managed renewal is $499 in New Mexico, $565 in Wyoming and $649 in Florida. The first-year purchase does not automatically enroll you in annual billing.
For the supported eligible profile, Managed includes the first full applicable state and federal compliance cycle, including one pro forma Form 1120 with Form 5472 when required and ordinary state annual-report work where applicable. It does not include bookkeeping, Form 1065 or broad personal tax preparation.
